Our Instructors

Sensei Rick Manos, born in Riverside, California, has made his home in Southern California for over 40 years.  Having trained for 30+ years under Shihan Joe Pagliuso, Sensei received his first Black Belt in 1980 at the age of 16.  He currently holds a 6th degree Black Belt and continues to train with masters worldwide in many different martial art styles.

Sensei Manos opened his own dojo in Anaheim Hills, California in 1987.  In addition to operating a very successful studio, in the mid- 1990’s, he began serving as a consultant and instructor for the Los Angeles Police Department Civilian Martial Arts Advisory Panel.

With over 25 years of teaching experience in karate, he is also a veteran competitor and esteemed referee for martial arts tournaments throughout the United States.  Utilizing all of his expertise in this field, Sensei Rick Manos continues to dedicate his life to bringing the exciting world of martial arts to his students and friends.

Sensei Manos has been happily married since 1993 to his lovely wife, Lori.  Along with Lori and their two wonderful children, Evan and Alyssa, he enjoys spending time with them traveling and seeing all that life
has to offer.
